Hello Sneh,
No, JEE Mains is only for admission into undergraduate engineering programmes of NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs.
So, you need not take JEE Mains exams to become a pilot.
To become a pilot :
* You need to first possess a Student Pilot License. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed 12th in Science (Physics and Mathematics) with 50%.
* Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.
General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal funct

No, you can't become a pilot after 10th. You have to opt science in 11th and 12th then you can prepare for aviation and flying school exams.

10+2 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics. (b) Minimum 16 years of age to be eligible for a Private Pilot License and 17 for a Commercial Pilot License.

(d) General physical fitness as approved by DGCA is mandatory.

You can take pilot training with any stream. But for getting Commercial Pilot Licence, you need to clear 6 DGCA exams and for that, you need physics and Maths. So I recommend you to do 12th with open school with at least these two subjects. then you will be eligible for it.

You may visit DGCA portal for details on approved flying clubs. You may take flying training and gain experience to become a Commercial Pilot. You can also appear for NDA examinations conducted by UPSC to become Flying Pilot in Indian Air Force.

Hi Syed,
I am assuming that you wish to become a Commercial Pilot and not an Air Force Pilot. The minimum eligibility to take this course is completing 16 years of age, passed 12th with Physics and Maths as subjects and cleared Class- I & Class-II medical. If you clear the minimum eligibility criteria then there are three steps upon completing them you will get a Commercial Pilot License:
1. Student Pilot License- You need to take ground training and clear oral and written exams of Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation Air Technical.
The very first thing I suggest you is to clear the Class-II medical test.
2. Private Pilot
I am assuming that you wish to become a Commercial Pilot and not an Air Force Pilot. The minimum eligibility to take this course is completing 16 years of age, passed 12th with Physics and Maths as subjects and cleared Class- I & Class-II medical.
