It has a great aircraft fleet, but the instructors and environment are unprofessional.
Placements: There are no placements provided by the institution. This is not an issue as no flying school provides placements. After completing the course and getting the license, students have to apply for jobs on their own. The institution does provide some references to students if there is an opening in IGRUA itself.
Infrastructure: The rooms are good, but Wi-Fi network is poor. Sports facilities are poor. The hostel is pretty open and good. Cleaning services are not up to the mark. Rooms are provided on a dual-sharing basis. Every room has two beds, one table (for two people), two chairs and 2 almirahs. Each bathroom is shared by the students from two rooms (4 people).
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and good for ground training, but flying instructors are unprofessional and not up to the mark. There are three exams for each subject with the DGCA pattern. It is pretty good to prepare students for actual DGCA exams. The pass percentage is 70%.

Reality of life at IGRUA.
Placements: In general, there are no campus placements in flying schools across India. That being said, IGRUA is the only place where airlines, mainly Air India, come to campus once in a while for campus placements. Even outside campus, IGRUA has a very high rate of placements. Most of the pilots in Indian Aviation industry are ex IGRUANs.
Infrastructure: Students have to stay in shared hostel rooms (2 students per room). Basic furniture like chairs, beds, tables, and an almirah is provided. There is no air conditioning in rooms, but all rooms have a cooler. Coolers are not very helpful as they barely function. Wi-Fi is paid and is not included in our fee. Mess food is okay. Sports facilities are very poor, and only a few selected sports are available.
Faculty: Teachers in the ground training department are very experienced, and most of them are ex Indian Air Force pilots. They have a good understanding of subjects. The syllabus covered is as per the DGCA exams. College exams are not very difficult and similar to DGCA exams, and they prepare us for the same.
Other: Extracurricular activities are non-existent. There is one fest every year, which is poorly managed and a very low-key affair. There are only facilities for a couple of sports, and they are in dire conditions. The campus surroundings are terrible as the campus is located in a remote rural area with the nearest big city (Lucknow) being more than 90 KM away.

You have to qualify their entrance exam first. For that, you need to know basics of class 11th and class 12th physics, maths, English also. You have to clear aptitude test and interview. So, practice question related to it.
