Actually, both are best depending upon student interest, a Diploma in pharmacy students can work as a pharmacist in clinics or government hospitals or even start their own pharmacy. If not interested can do further higher studies for placement in the pharmaceutical industry or working in R&D, this kind of job can pay high salaries. On other hand studying for B.Sc. can work in an executive role in life Science and biotech companies, want high salaries in the same field needs multiple degrees and skills that can only decide the job position and salary. Admission is taken on the basis of entrance examination taken by JCECEB Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. The required information for admission is advertised by Deptt Science and Technology Govt of Jharkhand in prominent news papers and websites. Admission forms are made available on payment through identified Bank and Post Offices. Applicant are required to appear for a written test of three hours duration in subjects Physics Chemistry Mathematics English and Matriculation level on a specified Date Time and Venue. Successful Candidates are subsequently called for counseling to allot the College and Branch of study based on performance in the Entrance test and Candidates preferences.
fee structure of Government Polytechnic Dhanbad is almost the same as all of the Government Polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand under the JUT board. The fee structure for a 3 year Diploma is different for different categories of seats. If an ST SC student gets a general seat they have to pay the fees of a General seat and if a girl gets a seat they have to pay 205. Every student has to pay an additional fee for admission every year.

To get admission in government Polytechnic Kanpur, you should be atleast either 10th pass with atleast 35 percentage marks. First you would have to appear for JEECUP exam conducted by up BTEUP every year for students who wants to pursue Diploma in engineering from UP Polytechnic colleges
On the basis of candidate marks obtained in the entrance exam, the seats will be allotted followed by the counselling procedure on the basis of their merit, choices filled by them and reservation criteria. The given below procedure have to be followed by the candidates through online mode
1The online counselling will be conducted in four rounds.
2 Candidates will have to do registration with the JEECUP roll number and password.
3 Candidates will have to pay 250 as a counselling fee through SBI MOPS
4 After successful submission of fee candidates will be allowed to fill the choices.
5 The colleges and course will be appeared as per the candidate category in which they can fill and lock their choices in order of their preference.
6 There will be no limit of filing choices for the candidates.
7 Candidates will be able to download their seat allotment result by entering the roll number and date of birth.
8 If candidate will be allotted the college, they will have to submit 3000 for a seat acceptance fee on given dates.
9 Candidates will have to report the reporting centres for the document verification.
10 After document verification candidates can go for the admission in allotted institution.
