You can pursue any stream of your interest. A graduation degree is better, because in many of the jobs especially government one, a graduation degree is required. Whereas if you are more interested in chemical and want a career ahead in it then you should pursue it with no doubt.

Hi Yash, If you have completed class 12th or more years of education, you are eligible to apply. You can take the SAT and TOEFL and apply to American universities. But, as a good applicant, you must enquire with the universities first about the admission requirements and process.

Admission is through Centralised Admission Process counseling based on the obtained in 10+2 examination. Minimum eligibility to apply is that candidate should have cleared class 12 exams with Mandatory Subjects : Physics, Chemistry, English, Biology/ Mathematics. The webpage of Sophia Shree B.K Somani Polytechnic is silent about fees charged for the various courses. It would be recommendable to get in touch with the college officials for the detailed information on the fee structure.

Hi,
Direct Second year Diploma admission process:
1. All seats (except institute quota) will be filled through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education. The students have to apply Online. Web site -http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/
2. The institution seats for First year (20% of sanctioned intake) will be filled after all rounds of Centralized Admission Process CAP by the Polytechnic. Fee concessions for institute seats are not available. The interested students should apply for institute quota.

Hi,
80% seats are filled through centralized admission process (CAP) conducted by DTE based on the rank obtained in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET)/JEE Mains.
Remaining seats are filled by the institute on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2.
