Hi,
NIOS is one of the national board so ideally you can but do check the eligibility criteria of autonomous colleges or institutes before applying.

Of course. Bachelor of arts is an undergraduate course that students of any stream can go for. Understandably, it might be a challenge for the first year as you will not have learned the basic concepts, but no worries. Psychology is a subject that if you are interested genuinely in, you can surely catch up. Plus, reading your friends' 11/12th standard books might help (if you have the time for that, that is).
Best college/university would depend on where you stay, where you are prepared to move, and, of course, your 10/11/12th standard scores. It is best if you research online depending upon your choice of location and subject choices e

Dear Karan,
To become an education counselor, you should have passion for education and patience in your nature.
You can start your education with BA in psychology then you can pursue MA in counseling psychology. Even with any stream knowledge up to its masters degree, you can start doing counseling but for that, you should have a thorough knowledge of different programmes.
Pitch a right programme to one person with his/her caliber, passion and interest is a challenge and skill but that approach would come in you over the years of experience and knowledge.
All the best.

To apply for a UG programme abroad, you need to give SAT or ACT exam. If you are looking for the US with SAT or ACT you also need TOEFL and for the UK you have to give IELTS.
These are the basic exams that will be required probably everywhere but every university is having their own admission requirements so please check the website of every university individually to know about the exams they require. Also, there are no such criteria for 12th standard marks but perform your best as high school marks affects abroad admission equally as your SAT or ACT score. So your high school score is most important for admission abroad. Best of luck.
