The application fees for RRB Group D exam are INR 500 for all candidates except the fee concession categories. For PwBD/Female/Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen/SC/ST/Minority Communities/Economically Backward Class, the application fees are INR 250. The application fee can be paid online. On appearing in CBT, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given full refund of application fee. Those belonging to unreserved categories are given partial refund of application fee. RRB Group D application fee can be paid online using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card/UPI.

The modification link to upload the photograph and signature is activated after the completion of application process. RRBs activate the modification link for candidates whose applications are rejected due to invalid photographs and signatures. Such candidates are given chance to re-upload their photographs and signatures as per the specified dimension and specification. The steps to edit the RRB Grouo D application form are given below:

RRB Group D admit card is released four days before the exam. The steps to download RRB Group D admit card are given below:
- Visit the region-wise official websites of RRBs
- Click 'RRB Group D admit card' link on the home page
- Enter user ID and password
- The admit card appears on the screen
- Download the admit card and take its printout

The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18,000. Besides the salary, candidates are also entitled to certain allowances and benefits. RRB Group D salary after 10 years increases upto INR 25,000 depending upon various factors. Candidates' salary is revised on the basis of 39 per cent DA allowances and the salary after five years jumps to INR 15,000 at least, depending on their pay band and the city they are posted in. The salary structure is given below.

The syllabus is given below: Mathematics: HCF and LCM, Ratio & Proportion, Mensuration Time & Distance, Profit & Loss, BODMAS, Percentages, Time & Work, Simple Interest and Compound Interest, Age Calculations General Science: Topics from Physics Chemistry and Life Sciences General Intelligence and Reasoning: Coding-Decoding, Relationships, Alphabetical Series, Venn Diagram, Statement and Conclusion, Numerical Series, Distance, and Directions. RRB Group D exam is conducted in three shifts. The exam for the morning shift begins at 9 am. The exam for second shift starts at 12.45 pm. The exam for the third shift starts at 5 pm. The details related to RRB Group D shift timings are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to reach the exam centre as per the timings mentioned on the admit card.
