Yes, there is normalisation of marks in RRB NTPC exam. This is done to adjust the difficulty level of the question papers held across various sessions. Result is announced based on the normalised marks.

In the self-declaration part of RRB NTPC admit card, candidates are required to write a paragraph saying that the details they have entered in the application form are correct and complete. They should not write the self-declaration in capital letters. Likewise, blank spaces are also provided for signature and left thumb impression. The official notification reads, "Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded e-Call letter for writing self-declaration paragraph (as the paragraph will be displayed on the screen during CBT), signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) unfilled while coming for the exam." The question paper of RRB Group D will be available in 15 languages besides English and Hindi. The question paper is framed in languages such as Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipur, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu. Candidates can select the language of the question paper from the option available in the exam login panel. RRB Group D question paper carries objective-type multiple choice questions. The structure of RRB Group D question paper is given below.
