Dear Mr. Uma: It is very rare that a company will look for Mechanical + MBA combination. Last year we had only one company, Rane, who looked at such combination. However it cannot be guaranteed every year. The highest in campus was 6.5 LPA, average is 4 LPA. Kindly review your decision from the perspective of the objectives set for learning. Largely MBA Programs are functional and not vertical as you are demanding.

You can opt for CPA or CFA course after completing MBA in finance and marketing. There is no need of doing MS in finance if you have done MBA from a reputed college or university.

If you follow the MBA institute ranking, then you can see that Deakin ranking vary 301350, where our top 3 IIM ranking also varies between 300 to 350, so if you try for Deakin, why not you try for IIMs. You will compete your studies within Rs.20 lakhs and as per faculties and infrastructure and placement. IIMs are same as Deakin. But, GMAT is bit easy than CAT and you can get international exposure, if you get Deakin. So, it's up to you.
All the best.

If you have chosen marketing as major then you can choose HR or operations and supply chain management as a minor. If you have option for international business then it will be a good combination with marketing. It depends what your college or university is offering. Choose the one which adds up a skill to major qualification.
