SEED Eligibility

• A candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream) or an equivalent or 10+3 Diploma approved by State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% (SC/ST - 45%) aggregate marks.
• Candidate who are appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma programme may also apply.

SEED Results will be announced in March 2027. The results will be declared online on the SID website.

Yes, SEED M.Des 2027 application forms will be released in September. The applications are available only for the B.Des programme by Symbiosis Institute of Design. 

Candidates are not required to submit an elementary drawing exam certificate for the Admission Procedure at SID. The candidate merely needs to meet the academic, qualifying exam, and age criteria. Eligible candidate next needs to appear in the SEED. Those qualifying in the exam will have to appear n

Eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Des programme through SEED 2026 is given below.

• There is no age limit for admission to the B.Des program

• Candidate must have passed Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board or 10+3 Diploma approved by the State Board of Technic

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) does not have any provisions for direct admission to the second year. So, candidates have to take admission in the first year of the B.Des program. Note that admission to the B.Des is only through the SEED exam.
