Whether doing Master of planning via distance mode is beneficial or not is depends upon your graduation profile. I will suggest you to go for Master of Planning through distance education only if you have sufficient work experience in this field. Dear, if you have done your Bachelors (in Planning) through regular mode and after passing your graduation if you do have good number of years for work experience in this field. Then, you can take distance education as an option for you. Because now, you have appropriate knowledge of this field. Bachelor in Mass Communication is the Foundation Degree in India because our Schools do not have this domain as a Specialisation. Media Studies or some other related subject is just part of the curriculum of Humanities and Arts in Senior Secondary and doesn't have major role. Hence, B.A. Remains a less preferred degree for getting a job quickly.
Having said this, I must clarify that B.A. Mass Communication is a good option to make a career in Media. After all, one has to somewhere start learning where the career is to be taken. B.A. Mass Communication done from average institutions in India doesn't lead to a good career possibility UNLE

This is the best combination that nowadays are in very demands. If you are pursuing B.Arch it means that now you are expert in designing. You are now expert in Artistic concepts to give for the company. But if you do MBA after B.Arch it gives you more weightage over other Non- MBAs students.
