(#) Commercial Architecture: It involves planning, design and construction management of commercial and retail facilities which require attention of functionality, flexibility and costs. These days, it becomes slightly difficult to expand the horizons of commercial architecture. Local authorities commonly maintain strict regulations on commercial zoning and have the authority to designate any zoned area as such. A business must be located in a commercial area, or area zoned at least partially for commerce.
(#) Urban Planning: This leads you to more sophisticated path. Jobs where your degree would be useful include: civil service administrator, community development worker, environmental manager, landscape architecture, planning and development surveys, and (or) sustainability consultant.

Wildlife photography: Wildlife photography is a genre of photography concerned with documenting various forms of wildlife in their natural habitat. In India, you have a great amount of opportunities if you are pursuing Masters of Planning. Planners have diverse job opportunities available in front of them. Masters of Planning graduates have access to both government as well as private sector job opportunities. But after all, it all depends upon you and your future goals. Since you are more oriented towards government jobs, your chances are more. Various government recruitment agencies are there. Government departments related to urban and town planning, government operated housing schemes, government transportation projects (highways, railways and metros etc.), government construction and rehabilitation projects, PWD job posts, municipal corporation job posts, etc.

Usually, questions may not be asked from very limited lists. Questions are free-flowing and you may get asked something that no one before has ever been asked in a NID interview. In fact, be ready for this. Rules to answer all questions: Be honest and be spontaneous (It does not mean impulsive. Take time if you have to, and be honest with that). Having said that, questions are usually asked to check your aptitude. Basically, ability to observe, solve problems and look at things in different ways. There is a good chance that there might be a psychologist (if not a psychiatrist) on the panel (yes, people are semi-crazy and you have to be). Some of the probable questions: 1. Why do you want to come to NID or do design in general? What do you know about the profession, if at all? 2. Hobbies. Whatever your hobby, be ready to demonstrate. (People have danced, performed magic tricks, acted, played an instrument etc.). 3. Your temperament will be checked. There might be things said to you to irk you or irritate you. 4. Social fit. Things that you are and are not comfortable with may be checked. 5. If you carry something to show to them (like a model or drawings or anything at all), questions/discussions will arise from them. A. What inspired you to make this? B. Whats the story? C. What medium did you use? D. How did you learn to make this? 5. What did it cost? Most of all, it's a discussion process more than just questions and answers. Don't forget to be honest and comfortable and make sure you enjoy yourself.

If you are asking for important topics for NIFT entrance, then these depend on the type of course you want to opt for. For example, if you want to be a design student then apart from general aptitude, your design ability would be checked. General aptitude covers basic mathematics. 10th standard book is sufficient for this. You can score good marks in general knowledge if you are aware about current TV ads. You should also be aware about brand ambassador of certain clothing brands. Apart from this, creative ability test is a situation based test where you will be checked on your creativity. Otherwise, if you want to be a part of any technical course like MFT, a single test would be conducted for you covering general ability test.
