As you know that Architecture is the Science of designing, it is very much necessary for you to learn Maths and Physics. The need of Maths is very high in this field. You need to have very expertise knowledge of Trigonometry, Differentiation & Integration, Coordinate Geometry, Statistics and probability. This are some mathematical concepts which you need to learn. For Physics, you need classical mechanics, Mechanical Properties of Solid, fluids and gases and rotational dynamics. If you are able to crack JEEs with good rank, it means, your concern is now over for Maths and physics. If you think that you are not good in Mathematics, then I would advise you to go for Tuition or coaching. It helps you a lot. There, you can learn the problem solving tactics to tackle the problem. Because without mathematical skills, it is very hard to clear B.Arch (even harder than taking admission in it). So, Maths & Physics is a must.

The Question has two sides to Answer- Is it worth to Do a course of this kind via distance learning and the other side is should it be done from INDIA? Let us discuss the first thing First.
1. Linear Editing is a thing of the past in this digital and technology-led age. Hence, it is the Non-Linear Editing that remains the way Video Production is done for all forms like films, documentary, TV Serial or music videos etc. Even News Reporting Videos are also customised. Seeing the DEMAND of this task amd knowing the essentials and challenges, it is NOT Adviseable or suggested that one should go for a NO Classroom Model of Learning "Editing" of any kind and level. Distance Learning, anywhere in the world it is, has its limitations. There are Virtual Platforms and ways like video conference classes etc. Or MOOCs that offer such learning. BUT, we must understand that the actual Learning of skill through Practical and Hands-on while doing the course. If the place offers somewhat like near-regular classes or the student arranged for himself some training then ONLY the distance learning course can do some good.
2. Based on the conclusion above, if the arrangement is made for proper practical training, then do it from INDIA otherwise NOT. IGNOU has offers some courses like this, other institutions might also offer, but it is not suggested to.

If One Starts Getting the News Published or Aired on Electronic Channels, it is becoming a Journalist. There are Local, National and International Media Organisations that "Recognise" and HIRE People with 'Communicative Competence', Public Relation Skills, Language Skills as well as very strong General Awareness. Reporting an event or happening is basic work to be done. The standard process these days is to possess a Degree in Journalism-Mass Communication-Media Studies-Public Relations per se. While doing the course, Media Houses are approached by the students for trainings and placements and hence the jobs come. Media Houses prefer people.with academic credentials these days. A degree in English, Hindi or.the related language is also preferred. One can be a Journalist by experience and Public Relations, Interpersonal Skills as well.

1. Video Editing is a single dimensional area where one shall work FOR the Advertising Management industry as well as for the Public Relationship work as well.
2. Editing is more of a Desk Job whereas Advt and PR Management is a comprehensive profile. The former keeps you in the later takes you to.field and vast areas of Public Interaction.
3. Editing is a Technical Skills; whereas PR and Advt Management is made of competence and multiple skills.
4. based on the experience I had in the Media as well as in Higher Ed, I would go for the Comprehensive Domain I.e. Advertising Management & Public Relations BUT I WOULD SURELY LEARN the nuances of Video Editing to enhance my Creativity and capability to manage that part of a bigger domain. Video Editing is a money earning work but quite 'small in impact'.

Go for a job if a good prospect is coming your way.
Justification: Media, Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Advt Management, Promotion, Media Production, Digital Marketing, Online Reputation Management etc a. Are such courses that must be put to use as early as possible. My rationale is not against doing higher studies, but you can keep studies along with the JOB.
Remember, that it is good to start your career in this domain as early as possible.
If the option of Higher Studies is based on absence of good job and an attractive option to Study at a Good Place then the Higher Ed option is also good.
Favour the idea of Vocational Education. As the western countries have when youngsters prefer to start their vocation early.
One more submission is that the 'course' as stated in the query has to be of good repute and for a good standing. .merely a certificate course won't do.much. There has to be a degree.
