Based on student's reviews, Infrastructure and Faculty is good, but you will find a good, bad and average professors everywhere, so it's a mix I believe. Based on students ratings, Infrastructure is 7/10 and Faculty is 6.8/10, so that is not bad.

In my opinion, there is no comparison. SRM being a private college is very expensive and provide all sorts of luxuries and amenities, it has been ranked as one of the best private college, whereas University Visvesarayya College of Engineering is a government college, hence it has a very reasonable fee, infrastructure is as per that. Education wise, both are good.

This completely depends on you, though there are ample amount of job opportunities after M.Arch, but if you go for higher studies you are definitely adding and expanding your knowledge and scope. It is always good and helpful, if you have more knowledge and higher degrees. NIT depends completely on you and your circumstances, if you want to pursue higher studies or start working. If you have enough time and money to go for higher studies, I'll suggest you to go for higher studies, rest is your choice.
