Between Jogesh Chandra Chaudhri Law College and Amity University, I would suggest you prefer Amity over the other one. There are several reasons for this. The first one being the popularity of Amity. Amity Universities have established themselves as one of the most famous learning institutions. They also have a great infrastructure, provide all the necessary facilities to students. Secondly, students at Amity take part in several academic as well as non-academic activities such as conferences, seminars, debates, moot court competitions among others. Lastly, Amity has a good placement and internship record for the students. If you are looking for placements after you graduate, Amity would help you in providing that but there are no placement opportunities from Jogesh Chandra. Therefore, I would suggest you prefer Amity University.

Well, the choice between these two colleges is not difficult as per me as both of them are not much known for law as such though are good institutes. However, VIT University, Chennai is much preferred for B.Tech courses and also, it has better infrastructure, faculties and placements.
Now, if you were to choose between these two, then on the basis of faculties, infrastructure and the placements, VIT would be a good choice.
They have some very good recruiters for other fields of education which makes it likely to have good placement for law as well.
Also, the infrastructure is amazing which certainly helps you throughout your years of studies.
Hooghly Mohsin College is not a college that people take names of in terms of law even though it is an older institute compared to VIT.
But as of present status, the opportunities at VIT in terms of placements and exposure would be better. Thus, it must be preferred over.

Well, the formula for calculating rank/percentile in ACLAT is straight forward as it depends on the marks obtained out of total 200 marks. The exam paper consists of sections including English, reasoning, maths, law and GK and weightage of marks is distributed.
Now, the ranks would be determined on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate compared with other candidates.
Also, the person with highest marks is rank 1 and those who clear the cut-offs get a seat.
The cut-off are determined based on no. of seats and no. of candidates. The cut-offs are declares once all seats get filled beyond which admission may happen only in case of a vacancy.
So, the candidate can judge their ranks based on the marks.
Also, there may be candidates having same marks and getting same ranks however the marks in legal section would break a tie as happens in CLAT.

All India Law Entrance Test is the entrance exam for National Law Univesity. The exam is divided into five sections. All the five sections have a total of 150 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer. So, on the basis of total correct answers, final scores are calculated. These scores form the basis of rank. Since the exam is only for admission to NLU-Delhi, there is no question of preferences. Since there is negative marking, most of the students get same scores. The question which arises is how is rank distributed among students of the same score. The first tie breaker is marks in legal section. If two or more students have same marks, the student with a higher mark in the legal section would be ranked higher.

Well, you have good placement opportunities after completing a law course from IMS law college Noida. The IMS group has some corporate firms which go upto 100 in numbers as their top recruiters which makes prospect for law graduates better as they get a chance to be considered for recruitment there. However, the college lies in NCR region thus face tough competitions in terms of recruitments and placements.
Even then you have good prospects in corporate firms if not law firms as they do not have law firms as their top recruiters. So chances there get lessened. However, you have options to choose amongst the number of corporate firms.
Also, beside campus placement, you have an advantage of NCR region wherein you can make your prospects better by internships and experiences thereby making a good CV.
A good CV shall help you in law firms as well.
