The entrance exam for Rajiv Gandhi school of IP includes a 200 marks paper with each question carrying 1 mark and there is no provision for negative marking. The question paper consists of subjects including English, logical reasoning, maths, Elementary science and legal aptitude.
The legal aptitude has a weightage of 70 marks and English has 60 marks weightage which is the maximum out of other segments. Thus, the focus needs to be more on English and legal section for which you shall need good knowledge of English grammar and must have good hold on vocabulary. Also, legal aptitude can be made strong only with more and more practice of questions as the questions are not much advanced. So, you need to read more law and English to get success in the exam. Well, the placements opportunities after a law course from Directorate of Distance Education (Kurukshetra University) Haryana would always be nil as the degree that you get after the completion of course would not be recognised by Bar council and thus you can't have any practical implications of Your degree and it would also get difficult in making a career in law. Also, the law degree would not make you eligible even for judicial services exams and thus would be a degree on paper only.
Also, it would not make you eligible as a legal expert even.
So, you won't get any placements as such here. So, I would advise you for better career and job prospects. Kindly go for a regular LLB degree from a UGC recognised institute as that would help you get better placements and even better quality of legal education.

University of Mumbai is a good university but it does not have all affiliated colleges which could be said to be good in terms of Law. For instance GLC is a good law college amongst others. But not every college is a good college in terms of law. However, Symbiosis law school would be a particular choice of college and you can expect a very good career while on campus owing to its good placement opportunities. Also, it has been a known name in terms of law for decades and is much preferred private institute for Law in that region.
So, between the University of Mumbai and Symbiosis Pune the latter would be a good preference provided you look for good education rather government status or private status of a college.
Also, the symbiosis law school follows modern patterns of education and helps in providing good exposure to its students.
