The Motto this days is skill, reskill and better skill. What this means is that everybody must keep on improving his/her skills throughout the lifetime. As the times change, different skills are required to be understood, assimilated and utilised. I am sure if you take up some software course definitely your employbility in the market will increase and you will get a better salary package. However a word of caution. I would advise you to take such courses which are in line with your work area and which will enable value addition to what you are doing presently. There are plenty of courses which IGNOU offers on its distance

Earn a degree in computer Science or a related field. Begin programming. Study data structures and algorithms. Supplement your studies. Build software. Seek an internship. Find job opportunities. Consider your career goals.

You have already done your BE long time back and then perhaps you are working in BPO for almost 10 years. Right? After this you now desire to enter the IT field. Okay. Just remember anything in the world is possible if you work hard towards achieving it wholeheartedly. In your case also you can definitely enter IT field and for this what you need to do is checkup some software course or some language course which is the need of the hour. This you can come to know from the local Institutions of your town which would be offering such courses. Once you complete the course you will be eligible to appear for and get the job in
