There are multiple job opportunities available in the field of IT. As per NASSCOM Indian IT Industry revenues grew by 13% in FY2015 and it added 2,30,000 employees in FY15. Yes, part-time or online programs are available but these will be generally certificate programs. You can also check MOOC courses.

You are advised to do BCA-MCA to become software engineer. if you had Maths as a subject in 10+2 stage then you are eligible to seek admission in all BCA colleges, else your choice of institute will be limited.

Don't worry if you haven't chosen computer science in 11th, you can still become a software engineer. Prepare for entrance exams after 12th board. Clear those entrance exams. You will definitely get a seat in a good college for software engineering.

Dear,
If you want to do software engineering course then you can choose IT but if you want to have knowledge of both hardware and software then you must choose CSE. I think CSE is a better option as it will enhance your domain in jobs in turn best for your future also You will have to select the college which bridge the gap between institutions and companies which will transform you into a technocrat, which gives you something more than your regular syllabus. if you move towards Jaipur you will find few colleges like MNIT, SKIT, Anand-ICE etc. There is a college in my view Anand-ICE near Kanota Jaipur which provides 390 degree developm
