Yes, many RJ courses include modules on sound editing, mixing, and basic audio production. Students learn to handle studio consoles, software, and microphones.
This technical training helps them manage shows independently and adapt to modern broadcasting needs. It also opens opportunities beyond radio, such as podcast production and digital content creation.

Of course, many top colleges abroad, such as New York University (NYU), the London Film School, the Vancouver Film School, the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), and the BIMM University, offer Sound Editing and Recording courses at various levels.
If you really want to pursue a Sound course abroad, analyze some factors like college rating, placement records, course fees, training or internship opportunities, etc.

Both Sound Editing and Sound Engineering are different in terms of their role and focus. Sound Editing is about audio manipulation, clearing & enhancing audio quality, shaping sounds, etc. Meanwhile, Sound Engineering means editing, mixing, reproducing, and delivering the final track. It covers the technical aspects of sound production.
