Yes, you will get admission in SRM University or any other university for that matter.
You will get direct admission in 2nd year of mechatronics in the university but you have to study three extra subjects that i.e; physics, chemistry, and maths.

Yes, SRM do have dual degree program. B.Tech+MS, B.Tech+M.Tech, M.Tech+MBA.

It is recommended for the students to present at the time of counselling, however if he is facing some medical issues then it will be better if you consult the college, they can guide you better.

As per your rank your chances of getting any NIT's is very slim. So if you got your preferred branches in VIT or SRM then choose any of them both are good.

Hi Sushant, your rank is good to get mechanical engineering at SRM university but you cannot get the main campus as there are very less chances only but for sure you can get mechanical at all other campuses.

Hi Harikrishna, you can get mechanical engineering at SRM university but there are very less or no chance to get SRM university main campus.
The other campuses like NCR Ghaziabad, Sonipat and the other campuses in Tamil Nadu .
