1)- S. C ENGLISH by Ajay kumar singh (previous paper till 2015)
2)- R. C, Cloze test and Sentence rearrangement By Dilip Kushwaha ( very important for Practice)
3)- Plinth to Paramount by Neetu singh
4)-Advance Math by Rakesh Yadav (Most Useful). .

CGL 2017 :
Tier 4 may happen in November/December if the stay is vacated
CGL 2018:
Tier 1 will happen in Feb/March.

For IT officer, you need a very good rank. Target minimum 160 in tier 1 exam. And 340+ in tier 2. Total should be above 500 after tier 2 for good chances of selection in General category.

Yes of course. Once you have cleared the minimum qualifying criteria for the exam you are good to appear in it. Seats in CGL are around 10k each year. So if you come within it you can surely get a job. Good luck.

SSC the Staff Selection Commission is the organization, which is here to recruit the employees to various posts in different departments. SSC conduct the exam for government jobs for 2 level one is CHSL and CGL. CHSL is the exam, which is conducted for the candidates who just have cleared the 10+2 level and the designation one get after clearing the exam is LDC or DEO.
