Yes, you need to present a proof of financial capacity. You need to prove that you have funds to pay for the course you are enrolled in a Swedish university. Your proof of financial capacity should also show that you have enough fund to support your stay in Sweden. If visit is more than 90 days, you need D Visa. New visa fee is €60. Children 0-6 years don't pay any fee. Visitor's permit costs SEK 1,500 for adults and SEK 750 for children under 18.
