Admission requirements for International Undergraduate First-Time Students at Texas Tech University:

• As a high school transcript, all official documentation showing GPA and class rank should be submitted by the institution's counsellor directly to the Texas Tech Counsellor portal. Applicants who do not have a transcript without a grade will have to assign a grade according to the Texas Senate Bill 1543.

• Upon admission to the university, the applicants will receive additional information concerning I-20 documentation requirements.

Admission requirements for International Graduate Students at Texas Tech University:

• International applicants should submit original language documents, transcripts/individual semester marks, and translation sheets. The graduate admissions office will not accept a public notary certification.

• Applicants with Indian credentials must submit all individual mark sheets/grade cards of all subjects/marks of all years of post-secondary study. Consolidated mark sheets sent without the individual mark sheets are not considered.

Admission Requirements for Business Schools:

• Application requirements vary depending on the degree chosen. For Masters of Science in Marketing Research and Analytics, the applicant requires a resume, three recommendation letters, and an essay. 

• For Finance students, GRE/GMAT scores are optional, and students need to submit three recommendation letters.

Proof of Financial Support (Financial Documents)

As a part of the application material, the proof of financial aid is to be submitted, or the applicant can submit it after your admission. However, this is not necessary for the application evaluation process.

Yes. If you are below 21 years and have less than 30 hours of completed coursework, you must live on campus. You are eligible to stay off-campus if you are only above 21 or have at least 30 hours of coursework completed. There are different on-campus housing options, you can choose from various residence halls, Apartments Suites, and Pods. 

For graduates, there is a separate graduate housing option. All halls are smoke-free with air conditioning, internet service, and free limitless laundry.

First-Year Student Scholarships

International undergraduate students at Texas Tech University can submit the scholarship form along with the application form on ApplyTexas.org. The deadline for first-year students falls in early February and for transfer students, it falls in early March. The award amount is determined by the test score and high school rank.

Transfer Merit Scholarship Program

These scholarships are for students who submitted their transcripts and documents by the Fall or Spring entry deadline. Students must enrol in a minimum of 12 credit hours and 9 TTU hours
