Candidates must have completed B.Sc.degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science that includes Botany / Zoology, Microbiology / Biochemistry/Biotechnology / Nutrition (or) Home Science / Agricultural Science /Medicine with above mentioned marks (Inclusive of all subjects) from a recognized university.
Applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura need 50% in the qualifying exam.

Candidates must have passed 10+2/equivalent in any stream with mentioned overall aggregate marks from a recognized board/institute.
Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura need 50% in qualifying exam to be eligible.
Final year candidates can also apply on a provisional basis.

Candidates are allotted a seat during TANCET counselling based on the following reservation criteria:

  • Open Competition (OC): 31%
  • Backward Classes (BC): 26.5%
  • Most Backward Class and Identified Communities: 20%
  • SC (Arunthathiyar): 3%
  • Scheduled Caste: 15%
  • Scheduled Tribes: 1%
  • Backward Class Muslims: 3.5%

The reservation criteria mentioned above has been followed during the Tamil Nadu MBA admission in the past sessions. DTE, Chennai, will release the updated reservation criteria along with the TANCET counselling brochure.

The current placement data of Amrita Chennai campus. However, I could suggest that the placements in a particular campus can vary based on various factors such as the industries in the location, the reputation of the college, and the quality of the students. Regarding the difference between Chennai campus and other campuses, each campus of Amrita has its own unique features and strengths. However, they all follow a common Vision, Mission, and Goals, and the curriculum and standards are the same across all campuses. According to the VIT seat matrix 2023, no. of seats offered are 240. Now coming to the cut-off, you should have passed you'rs Bachelor's Degree with minimum 60% of grade point. Also, MCA programmes are available to undergraduate students in their final year.

Hello, the minimum mark that are required for this degree are 95 percent. And should have passed out from a recognised board with a commerce stream. Hope this answer helps.
