At the University of Madras, TANCET scores are accepted for admission to its full-time MBA courses. This test is conducted by Anna University. The university has released the exam schedule. As per that, the results for the 2025 session were released on Apr 23, 2025.

Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, SCA, MBC, DNC, BC, and BCM) are eligible for a relaxation in the qualifying examination marks. They must have obtained at least 45% aggregate in their bachelor's degree program, compared to 50% for general category candidates. Valid community certificates must be submitted during counselling registration.

There is no upper or lower age limit prescribed for TANCET counselling. Age is not considered a factor during the admission process. Similarly, while work experience may be valued by individual institutions during admission or placement, it does not influence eligibility for TANCET counselling itself.

No, appearing for the TANCET 2025 exam is mandatory for admission through the regular counselling process conducted by Anna University. Without a valid TANCET score, a candidate cannot participate in the centralized counselling. However, individual institutions may offer management quota seats which have separate eligibility norms.

Yes, candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree through distance education from a UGC or AICTE-approved institution are eligible, provided the degree is of at least three years' duration and meets the minimum aggregate marks requirement.
