Public sources do not specifically provide the TANCET cutoff for the MBA/PGDM programme at Akshaya Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) Coimbatore in 2025. According to past patterns, the general category projected cutoff is between 18 and 25 out of 100 whereas reserved groups like SC and ST have lower cutoffs of 10 to 15. Every year cutoffs change according to the exam complexity the number of applicants, and the institute 60-seat capacity.

Yes without taking the TANCET students can still be admitted to the MBA/PGDM programme at the Akshaya Institute of Management Studies in Coimbatore. For management quota seats, candidates may apply if they have valid CAT, MAT or CMAT scores. A Bachelor degree with 50% (45% for Tamil Nadu reserved categories) is required for eligibility. Candidates must take part in-person interviews and group discussions before receiving counselling To ensure a fair admissions process, selection is based on entrance scores, interview performance and document verification.

Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, SCA, MBC, DNC, BC, and BCM) are eligible for a relaxation in the qualifying examination marks. They must have obtained at least 45% aggregate in their bachelor's degree program, compared to 50% for general category candidates. There is no upper or lower age limit prescribed for TANCET counselling. Age is not considered a factor during the admission process. Similarly, while work experience may be valued by individual institutions during admission or placement, it does not influence eligibility for TANCET counselling itself.
