The university of Delhi ( DU) lecturer is one of the most sought-after posts, and you can get a salary of up to Rs 67,000 as a lecturer at DU. On its official website, the Delhi University occasionally posts openings for lecturer positions. To meet Delhi University's requirements to become a lecturer, you have to complete the steps listed below:
1. You must earn your master's degree in the field of study where you want to teach.
2. You also need to score at least 55 percent in your master's degree.
3. To become a DU lecturer, it's necessary to have a Ph.D. in your specialty.
4. You can do your Ph.D. after passing the NET exam for JRF, or you can do your Ph.D. first and then take the NET exam.
5. Clearing NET is necessary to apply for a lectureship at DU.
6. You can have an edge after having some teaching experience at a college in your specialty.
7. When DU posts a vacancy notification, you must submit an application by completing an application form. If you are selected, you will be asked to an interview; if you do well, you will be permitted to take a lecturer position at university of Delhi (DU). .

Polytechnic teachers are also appointed through Public Civil Service (PCS) Examination Test. There is no uniformity in qualifications. Some states the Technical Teachers Exam (TTE) to be passed, and some allow a Bachelor of Education some require a Bachelor of Technology only.
