After completing B.Com, you have to try some courses in education like B.Ed or Diploma in education I.e. D.Ed. However several states take an entrance test for the post of assistant teachers where minimum qualification is 10+2 and like TET in Bihar.

You would need to pursue B.Ed as that is the basic requirement for a teaching job. You can also prepare for CTET exam.

Hello Vidushi,
It's really admirable that you want to pursue economics.I myself had econ in my 12th. So, the steps are:
1. You need mathematics in your 12th standard
2. Get your Bachelor's degree in Economics (B.Sc/BA in Economics).
3. Get your Masters degree in economics
4. After that, you have to crack NET and get your PhD in economics.
Some colleges also absorb Masters candidates as lecturers. It's a long way from your +2 to being a lecturer. But, surely, your zeal to learn will help you find your way. I hope to see you someday on that podium.
Until then, Good Luck.
