Students need this assessment to determine their eligibility for entry because APS checks how foreign degrees measure up against German educational requirements. 
TUM:
Students enrolled at TUM can access different scholarships which either pay for their tuition fees and provide them with monthly stipends in addition to offering travel grants. 
TUH & TUB:
International students along with students from specific academic disciplines can take advantage of scholarship programs at TUH and TUB.

The Technical University of Munich & Technical University of Berlin are considered the flagbearers of technical education in Germany. Both these institutions rank very highly in the latest Shiksha Popularity Rankings, however, these institutions are selective to varying extents when it comes to admitting students.

The Technical University of Munich acceptance rate stands at around 8%, while that of Technical University of Berlin is around 52%. Though, TUB Berlin is somewhat selective, it is still nearly six times easier to secure a seat as compared to TUM Munich.

Technical University of Berlin acceptance rate is around 52%. This means that the university is moderately selective at the time of admission. For admission to UG courses, the applicants must have school grades. On the other hand, the admission to Master's course, the applicants would require students to have a Bachelor's degree. In the case of UG courses, German language is required. On the other hand, the language requirements for Master's courses vary from programme to program. Master's courses are offered in English and / or German.
