Try to channelise your focus on Factual information. The Chronology of events should be on priority. Do attempt to solve some Previous Years Question Papers for honing your skills to crack JRF.

The best way to prepare for NIFT is self-study. Talk to any of the senior there, and ask for the appropriate study material and buy those books and start studying on your own and side by side with it go for drawing practice. A lot of practice is needed to crack NIFT. All the best.
