Dear Hartej,
With no further doubts, B.Tech in CS from DTU should be your topmost priority. It is one of the best engineering college in Delhi and is also considered equivalent to NIT, Delhi. Thapar University is nowhere compared to DTU even if you do integrated 5 years course. Hope this helps.
Good Luck. Upvote the answer if this helps you.

The hostels are really nice, they call it home away from home and to the most extent, it is. Their new buildings have won an international award for its architecture so you can estimate the quality they provide. The food is also hygienic and really good.

Garg, don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. Hi Pragvansh,
As Arshita said, the scholarship is divided into 3 categories at Thapar Institute on the basis of your board marks. It is a little difficult to explain the overall process here, so would recommend you to visit the website as that would give you a clear picture. That's quite simple. When you think of engineering nothing is better that Thapar Institute. Thapar is the best choice because of the highly educated and supportive faculty, better infrastructure and quality education. The curriculum focuses equally on academic knowledge as well as applied research so that students can compete globally. So for me, Thapar Institute is a clear win here.

Placement at Thapar Institute is pretty good as compared to other private institutes and many renowned companies visit the campus for placement such as Reliance, KPMG, HSBC, Deloitte, J. P. Morgan and many more. So do not worry about placement when you're at Thapar Institute if you're hardworking and honest to your studies you'll get it for sure. All the best.
