I myself would say that after doing B.Tech Bio technologies in India one cannot hope for a very hifi job. As the branch being vast getting a masters degree is advised. Also the placement record has been 86% placement of the recent batch. That. At an average package of Rs.4.5-Rs.6.8 Lacs per annum.

Hello Rajiv
I am in the final year and speaking to you frankly the placement is dependent on the caliber of the student, university offers you the chance and many companies come in for placement and training . Plenty for all the students but it is the students that don't work hard usually don't qualify. As for the Average package till last year i would say the average was about Rs.6.6-Rs.6.9 Lac per year. Highest i remember was from Amazon.in Rs.27 Lac (cost to company). There is no need to be insecure about , the fee is high but its on you how you spend your time in college that decides your future.
