The management quota, which constitutes 50% of seats, permits entry into Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology's (LICET) B.E./B.Tech course without TNEA. 45% in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) is the requirement for candidates belonging to the general category. The process consists of applying directly on the LICET website, submitting supporting papers, and attending the college's entrance exam and interview.

The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for Loyola - ICAM College of Engineering and Technology. The result date for this is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May and the ranks were allotted on 27th June.

Admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology is primarily based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, where your Class 12 marks are taken into account for merit-based selection. Direct admission without participating in TNEA is not usually possible, as the institute follows the general state counselling process for allotment of seats. You need to apply through TNEA, specify GRT Institute as your choice, and attend the centralized counselling for getting admission in B.E./B.Tech courses.

Admission to the B.E./B.Tech programs in NEC - Nandha Engineering College is mainly through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process on the basis of merit obtained from qualifying exams such as 10+2 or CBSE 12th. Direct admission apart from the TNEA or any other accepted entry processes is not offered by the college. All applicants need to apply under the single window system operated by TNEA or provide scores from established qualifying boards. There is no separate management quota or direct admission without TNEA or equivalent for B.E./B.Tech in NEC.
