Indian students who are applying at University of Maryland , must submit proof of English proficiency. The submission will not be deemed complete until they obtain the results. Any one of these English proficiency tests is accepted:

English language exam scores is one of the major Merrimack College's admission requirement and international students must submit it during the time of application. However, Merrimack does provide alternatives as it accepts SAT and ACT scores as proof of proficiency in the langauge. If students can fulfill the minimum score requirements listed below, they do not need to submit an IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/Duolingo score.

Emory University demands English language proficiency scores from all international students as an admission requirement. At Emory, if English is not a candidate's primary language, then they are required show that they’re able to succeed academically in a rigorous English-speaking classroom. Also, candidates should be fluent in written and spoken English at the time they apply.
