International students whose first language is not English must submit the proof of English language proficiency to get admission to the university. We have mentioned below the minimum score that students required to meet the Detroit English language requirements:

For the internet-based TOEFL, the minimum score is 79, for paper-based, 550, and for computer-based- 213 is required.

The other scores required for each test are as follows:

MELAB: 73-76
IELTS: 6.5
PTE Academic: 53
Duolingo English Test (undergraduate students only): 95

Students who score below the minimum proficiency may be required to enroll in English as a Second Language (ESL) classes until proficiency is met. 

California Baptist University doesn't have a minimum TOEFL score requirement for all of the programs offered, few programs can require specific minimum scores. A score of 85 in TOEFL is considered good for various programs at California baptist University. However you need to have higher score in TOEFL if you want to apply for the scholarships as the few scholarships offered there require high scores. 

You can re-appear for TOEFL if the programme you want to choose or the scholarship you want to apply for needs high TOEFL score. California baptist University also considers other test for English language proficiency like IELTS.

The minimum TOEFL score required for undergraduate students is 90. For graduate students, the minimum TOEFL score is 100.
