In TOEFL 2026, the computer monitors your answers in Module 1. If you do well, Module 2 becomes harder to help you get a higher band score. This multistage adaptive system replaces the fixed-length sections used in 2025.

TOEFL 2025 exam duration was about 2 hours. In the 2026 update the total time is cut to around 90 minutes. This is because the Reading and Listening sections are now adaptive, making the test faster and more personalized.

The TOEFL iBT exam officially shifts to the new pattern on January 21, 2026. Any test you take before this date uses the 2025 format while all tests on or after this date use the 2026 update.

Generally, no. If you have scored above 75-80% in English in your Class 12th boards (CBSE/ISC), Public Universities in Singapore usually waive the English proficiency requirement. However, for a Master's degree, it is often required unless your undergraduate degree was taught entirely in English.

The New TOEFL format changes totally. The exam is much shorter, only 90 minutes long. The score changes to a 0-6 Band scale instead of 120. It is now adaptive with real tasks like Writing emails. Also, the Speaking section has no preparation time, so you must answer immediately.

The TOEFL fees in India is actually INR 18,000. One ETS official website you might see TOEFL iBT registration fees as INR 15,254, but that is only the base price. It does not include GST tax. So when you go for payment, the final TOEFL exam price will be 18,000 rupees.

You don't need a teacher or partner. Just use your mobile phone recorder for TOEFL Speaking practice. Talk to yourself on simple topics and listen to your recording to catch mistakes. It is the fastest way to improve.

Please don't buy any heavy TOEFL prep books now, you cannot finish them. The best TOEFL study material for short time is official ETS free resources and YouTube videos. Big books will only make you more confuse and stress.
