You can always apply to NID for an M.des course in the designing field you are interested in IF you for the eligibility criteria.

NIFT conducts its own entrance exam and without clearing that exam you cannot get admission in NIFT. UCEED and JEE Mains are completely different exams and NIFT do not take any of them into consideration for the admission.

Both Indian, as well as foreign nationals, can apply for UCEED 2017. Aspirants meet the eligibility criteria for UCEED 2017 if they fulfill the below-mentioned criteria:
Criteria 1-Age Limit
The candidate should be born on or after October 1, 1997 if they belong to the general or OBC-NCL category. However, aspirants from SC/ST/PwD category should be born on or after October 1, 1992.
Criteria 2 Number of Attempts:
Candidates who meet the UCEED eligibility criteria can attempt the exam for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.

Total seats in IITs are 11 (4 in IIT Powai and 7 in IIT Guwahati ) for B.Design for SC category students. You have lesser probability of getting admission in IITs for B.Design.
