Engineering degree holders with 60% marks are eligible for NET. If you are M.Tech holder, then you need 55% marks in your post-graduation to become eligible for these exams. You will be eligible for engineering sciences subject in CSIR NET.

Hello Divyanshi, UGC NET is a national level exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency for those candidates who want to become assistant professor or researcher. The candidates who are in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed their post-graduation, should have minimum 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognised institute to appear for the exam. For selection as teachers in government run schools Applicants must pass the CTET. The National Council for Teacher Education frames regulations and takes final decisions. Hello,
Yes, you are eligible for the UGC NET exam. UGC NET is a national level exam to examine the ability of candidates for holding the position of lecturer or researcher. The basic requirement of the NET exam is that you should have Master's Degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks or if you are from OBC/SC/ST/PwD category, then you should have minimum 50% aggregate marks. But, make sure that the subject which you select for UGC NET exam is related to your post-graduation subject.

Yes, you are eligible to appear in UGC NET exam. But, I doubt whether you can meet the eligibility criteria to apply for government. Job. It may vary. Though, you can do a private job where there is no such restriction.

Hi Niyor,Yes, you are eligible. National Eligibility Test is conducted for candidates who are interested in Ph.D. or College lectureship. The National Eligibility Test is conducted for lectureship in central government colleges. If you want job in state government college that please appear for the SET exam of that state. NET is conducted twice a year in June and December by the University Grants Commission. The exam is quite difficult and would require hard work to clear. Only candidates who have post-graduation degree can apply for NET Exam. But the degree should be from a UGC recognized university. Eligibility
