UGC NET Eligibility

Hello, The aspirants who have completed Masters in Arts with subjects like sociology and other subjects are definitely eligible to become lecturers and researchers. Students with distance or regular degree from a recognised college or university can appear for the UGC NET Exam. The UGC NET Exam eligibility is that you must not be more than 30 years (35 years for women and reserved candidates). The UGC NET Exam is conducted in the month of July and now you can appear for the UGC NET Exam to be conducted in the month of December. The NET Exam is conducted in two phases- UGC NET Paper 1-https://scoop.eduncle.com/ugc-net-general-paper-research-and-teaching-aptitude and Paper 2. The UGC NET Exam Paper 1 mainly comprises of the questions from the aptitude and Reasoning section while the UGC NET Paper 2 is held in the subject you have completed Master's degree programme. To appear for the UGC NET Exam make sure to have at least 55 % marks in the UGC NET Exam if you are from general category. For reserved and female candidates, you must have 50% marks in the UGC NET Exam.

UGC NET 2018 Eligibility
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Masters degree exams (in streams such as Humanities, Social Science, Electronic Science, Computer Science & Applications, etc. ). From a UGC recognised college/ university fulfill UGC NET 2018 eligibility criteria. It may be noted minimum percentage required to meet UGC NET eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD categories is 50%. Candidates who are appearing or awaiting results for their final year examination of Masters degree are also eligible to appear for UGC NET 2018. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and will be considered for JRF and Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor only when they pass their Masters exams with required percentage. Such candidates must complete their PG degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified, informs the official website. The aspirants completed Masters in Commerce, Arts or Management can apply for the UGC NET exam. There is no age limit to appear in the NET Exam. Well, if you want to gain the UGC fellowships worth INR 25000 per month for studies. And for research, you need to clear the JRF cut-off. The Age limit is 30 years for JRF (For Female and Reserved Category students the age limit is 35 years)
The NET Exam is conducted in two phases- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is conducted in the Aptitude section and Paper 2 is conducted in the Subject selected by candidates in the Post graduation (Management in your case)
