After BA, you need to pursue an MA in Urdu (or a related subject).

Once you complete or are in the final year of your MA, you can apply for UGC NET in Urdu.

In short:

BA alone cannot fulfill the eligibility for UGC NET.

The eligibility for UGC NET is MA in Urdu (or related field) with 55%+ marks

Yes, if you have done M.Sc. in Conservation of Historic Buildings from any university in the UK, then you are eligible for UGC NET for Museology and Conservation, but you must get an approval letter for your degree by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

No, you are not directly eligible for the UGC NET exam in Commerce if you have completed your postgraduation in Statistics. The UGC NET eligibility criteria specify that candidates must have a master's degree in the subject they wish to appear for. Since you have a master's degree in Statistics, you would typically be eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam in Statistics rather than Commerce.

To appear for the UGC NET exam in Commerce, you would need to have a postgraduation degree in Commerce or a related field. However, if you are interested in pursuing a career in Commerce education or research, you might consider doing a relevant qu

For CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and UGC NET eligibility to pursue a BA in Dance at Visva Bharati University:

  • CUET: The eligibility for BA programs usually requires completion of 10+2 education. Since you have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you may need to check if it is considered equivalent to a higher secondary qualification for CUET eligibility.

  • UGC NET: UGC NET is for post-graduate admissions and research eligibility. For BA programs, UGC NET is not required, as it is intended for Master's degree holders.

Check Visva Bharati University's specific requirements for the BA in Dance program.

Considering your educational background, the best option available for you in the CSIR NET examination is Life Sciences.

MSc in Environmental Science and BSc in Zoology cover the major areas of life sciences from ecology, physiology to genetics, molecular biology, and environmental biology topics where you have your existing knowledge and could prove to have the strongest base.

Earth sciences are mainly concerned with the study of things like geophysics, geology, oceanography, atmospheric sciences, and even if you have a few common topics in environmental sciences, you cannot expect that your background from zoology helped much in
