Yes, your distance education will be deemed valid for any further documentation and formal proceedings in your career. Moreover, I would suggest you to once go through UGC NET brochure as you need to match their criteria, eligibility and requirements too. Whereas, in the case of correspondence courses from LPU, your degree is valid everywhere.

You can do a part time Master's courses. If your graduation background is B.Com, you can do a part time M.Com and later on you can apply for UGC.

Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in their Master's degree exams (in streams such as humanities, social science, electronic science, computer science & applications, etc.). No, 12th appearing students are not eligible to attend UGC NET. Candidates who are applying to UGC NET should have completed their Masters, or appearing for their final examinations in Masters are eligible to apply. Yes, you can apply for CSIR UGC NET. You should have M.Sc Or equivalent degree/Integrated BS-MS/BS: 4-years/BE/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS with at least 55% marks for general and OBC-Non Creamy layer candidates.
