The application form for UGC NET Exam will be released on 16th March 2020. But before filling the UGC NET Application Form, you should keep the following documents before filling up the UGC NET 2020 Application Form:
1. Valid government identity proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, Ration Card.
2. Scanned Passport size Photograph & Signature.
3. Documents that confirm your UGC NET Educational Qualification like Marksheet of Masters degree. However, if your final result for Masters degree is not declared at the time of filling online form, you can mention it in the form. You are requested to fill all the details in the form carefully. When it is about UGC NET exam, be clear about your efforts as it is being conducted on National level. Never take paper 1 for granted it carries 100 marks. As far as study plan is concerned must devote 5-6 hours a day, that too religiously. Know your syllabus well and go for the best study materials. Stick to the syllabus only, UGC NET English has a very vast syllabus. Along with this start with the topics you know well so that you can complete them in short time and it will boost your confidence as well. UGC NET at least require 6 months. Do not invest all the time on a single topic, manage your time well. Divide the syllabus (paper 2) in 4 sections
British Literature
Indian English Literature
American Literature
Literary theory
Go with the basic books that ensure to cover the syllabus. For British literature must follow David Daiches (both volumes) & Routledge's History. For Indian literature must go with M K Naik & K R Srinivasa Iyengar. For literary theory go for A RHabib & M H Abrams. Hope it helps.

According to NTA norms, aspirant who have Masters degree or enrolled in the post graduation degree, they are eligible to take the UGC NET exam. But make sure you fulfill all the basic requirements of National Eligibility Test. Candidates who are willing to appear in Upcoming UGC NET exam should be well aware with the eligibilities and the latest notifications of the exam. As per the NET exam eligibility criteria, candidates should have passed post-graduation with 55% (For General) or 50% (For OBC/ST/SC/PwD) marks from a government recognised institute. As you have in final year then you have to score minimum educational percentage. To appear for Junior Research Fellowship, you have to fulfill age criteria also I. e. your age must not be exceeded than 30 years (For General). Reserved categories candidates get the relaxation of 5 years. The National Testing Agency will start the UGC NET Apply Online process for June 2020 session from 16th March 2020.
