Hi Pritam,
You have completed your M.Com. So, you can apply for UGC NET undoubtedly. But you should remember one thing that only qualifying the post graduation is not enough, you must fulfill the other eligible criteria I.e.
If you belong to the general category, your minimum percentage should be 55% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Transgender). And your age should not be more than 30 years if you are going for the JRF. There is no upper age limit for the post of an assistant professor.

You can appear for UGC NET Exam on the basis of your Masters subjects. If you are pursuing MBA in HR then the best option for you is UGC NET HRM. To apply in CBSE UGC NET you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks (for General) or 50% aggregate marks (for OBC/SC/ST/PwD). If you want to appear for JRF then your age must not more than 30 years. For Assistant professor there is no upper age limit.

These so-called 'Best Books' can't help you to clear the UGC NET exam. If you are dedicated, then you should refer to previous year's question papers and syllabus of your subject. For 1st paper, you can refer to Pearson publication. Logical study of the syllabus will help you to hit the target.
Best of luck.
