The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET Dec 2019 Result on 31st December 2019. Candidates who appeared in this examination now can check their result on the official site of NTA NET. As per the available stats, total 65,239 candidates qualified in NTA NET Dec 2019 Exam, if you want more stats about this exam then check this - https://examnotifier.wordpress.com/2020/01/03/ugc-net-result-statistics/. Hello,
The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET Dec 2019 Result on 31st December. Candidates who appeared in this examination can check their results from the official site. NTA has also released the cutoff marks for JRF & Lectureship for all the subjects.

The National Testing Agency has released the UGC NET Exam Result on its official site. Following are the available stats regarding the UGC NET Dec 2019 Exam and Result -
Number of candidates registered - 1034872
Number of candidates appeared - 793813
Number of candidates qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only - 60147
Candidates qualified for JRF & eligible for Assistant Professor - 5092
The Final Answer Key and Result have been released on the same day by NTA. Also keep visiting the official site of NTA for all the latest updates regarding the exam.

The UGC NET Result for Dec Exam 2019 will be declared on 31st December 2019. The result will be declared on the official website of UGC. You can check the step by step procedure to check your UGC NET Result below:

Hello,
The UGC NET Result will be declared by the National Testing Agency. To qualify the exam candidates will require to secure minimum 40% aggregate marks in both the Papers. There is no need to score separately in both Papers. But it is suggested to prepare both these sections equally as more questions you attempt, the chances to clear the exam will become higher.

Hello Deepika, The cutoff marks for each section is different and can not be sure about it. We can just have a brief idea about the cutoff through the previous year marks. The UGC NET exam was held from 2 to 6 Dec in two shifts. The final cut off marks depends on the various factors like number of candidates appeared in the exam, level of difficulty, attempts in the exam and final cut off marks etc. The cut off marks for the previous year Education subject paper was 58% for JRF & Assistant and 49% for only assistant. Hello Nidhi,
No, you can't apply for UGC NET Environmental Science. But if you want to become a researcher or lecturer then you can apply for CSIR NET Earth Sciences. It is an national level entrance test which is conducted for Science stream aspirants to examine the knowledge to holding of the position of assistant professor and research fellow. To appear for the exam you must have minimum 55% aggregate marks for General/OBC category or if you belong to SC/ST/PwD category, then you must have minimum 50% aggregate marks. Yes, you are eligible for NET exam. The SET and NET exams are held for the selection of candidates for lectureship and junior research fellowship. The difference between the NET and SET is that SET is eligible for state level universities hence called state eligibility test while NET qualified candidates are eligible for National level universities or colleges and stands for National eligibility test. The question papers were only available for a very short time so, candidates who were not able to download the papers on that particular interval can download the question papers from the other websites.
