Yes, you can appear for UGC NET exam in Environment Science. But you have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of NET exam. As per the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria, the candidate who is in the final year of Post-Graduation or have passed his post-graduation should have minimum 55% (For General) or 50% (For ST/SC/OBC/PWD) marks from a government recognized institute to appear for the exam. National Testing Agency (NTA) will start the online application submission from 1st September 2018. So, if you want to appear for NET exam then hurry up and get ready to fill the online application form. You can get all the details relate

Hi,
To become a lecturer in college, you have to complete Post Graduation in the subject you want to become a Lecturer. To become a Lecturer you have to apply, appear and crack NET (National Eligibility Test) examination conducted by UGC two time a year for selection of Lecturer. The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Post Graduation with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidate) from a recognized University. Thanks.

They can pursue for the exam with the subject or related subject in which they completed their Masters. According to your subject the best option for you is UGC NET Environmental Science But make sure that your aggregate marks are not less than 55% marks. If you will apply researcher then your age must not exceed 30 years.
