Hi Anna,
You could not apply for Asst. Professor until you have done Ph.D. or qualified the exam. You need to clear the exam and then apply for post. However, apart from it you can apply for lectureship and JRF simultaneously.

Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET exam. As per the NTA guidelines, the University should be approved either from AICTE or AIU approved. NTA released the UGC NET form on 1st March 2019 and the last date to fill the online application form is 30th March 2019.
Before apply for the NTA UGC NET, you must fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e
1. You should have secured minimum 55% marks in your PG.
2. Not more than 30 years of age if applying for JRF and there is no age limit for the post of an Assistant Professor.

No Yusuf, you are not eligible to appear for both the subjects in one go either you can appear for the Mass communication or Management.
As per the NTA guidelines, only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
NTA UGC NET exam will held in the month of June on he following dates; 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27 & 28 June 2019. Online application form window for June session is open till 30th March 2019 and last date to pay online is 1st April 2019. Hello Dipika,
As you related to science stream, so CSIR NET exam is the better option for you on the place of UGC NET exam. As per the CSIR NET exam guidelines, you can apply for the exam in your post-graduation subject or related to that subject. According to your qualification, you can appear for the CSIR NET Chemical Science exam, if you have minimum 55% aggregate marks in M.Pharma. Reserved category candidates get the 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks.

Hi,
The best subject to choose for UGC NET examination is the subject in which you have done your graduation and post-graduation because Paper 2 of the examination is totally a subject-oriented paper which you have chosen while filing up the application form of UGC NET. You can select any subject for UGC NET while applying for the examination. Now why I am saying that you should go for the subject in which you have sought your graduation and post-graduation degree. For life Science graduates, CSIR NET exam is there. UGC NET exam is only for home science graduates. In CSIR NET exam, there is subject code 304 for Botany students.

You are from the computer field and don't get confused between computer science and IT. According to the norms of NTA, UGC NET aspirant have to choose the subject which is related to their post-graduation. As you have mentioned in the above query, you have completed your M.Tech from IT. You have to opt for UGC NET Computer Science & Applications. UGC is held twice in a year June and December. For this year 2019, June exam forms are out till 30th March 2019. Fill the forms before the due date.

Hello,
UGC NET is conducted twice in a year in the month of June and December. The basic eligibility to appear in this exam is, an aspirant should have completed their Masters' or is in the final year of their Post-Graduation. As you are from the Statistics background, you can choose any of the subjects either UGC NET Commerce or CSIR NET in Mathematical Science. But being from this background, you should go for CSIR NET in Mathematical Science rather than UGC NET.
