SPPU placement report 2026 is not released as of now. However, as per NIRF report 2026, the overall median package offered during the placement drive 2025 was around INR 3 LPA.

Yes, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has approved the course of B.Tech in the field of Data Science (DS), which is conducted at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The SPPU, in itself, is a UGC-recognized and NAAC-accredited public university and all the programs that affiliate under SPPU are run as such.
This central approval is assumed by any Degree programme (B.Tech or equivalent) run at or under the aegis of SPPU, including Data Science. Indeed, there is a Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Animation and VFX course offered at ZICA (Zee Institute of Creative Art) Pune and this is a 3 year course affiliated to a famous University in Pune. Although their Degree program can also be said to have shorter (Certificate level) courses known as their Professional Programs, the accreditation aspect is on a university level. This will imply that students will have a degree in a university which affiliated to the institution when taking up their B.Voc. in Animation & VFX thus adding more academic value to their specialized education.

The candidate should be pass in 10+2 with physics, chemistry, mathematics minimum 35 percent aggregate score
Students can do the online registration on the portal of SPPU which is unipune.ac.in
Application fees for general category students are 600rs per course
And for the Sc /St category students the application fees are 400 rs
Application date in 2025 20 February 2025 to 30 April 2025

SPPU offers BPharma as a UG level programme for 3 years to 4 years with an eligibility criteria of merit and entrance. Candidates must get a min. aggregate of 45% in Class 12 and valid scores in MHT CET, or other equivalent examinations.
