  • New student to UBC, entering directly from secondary school
  • An international student on a Canadian study permit
  • Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and intellectual promise, as well as impressive extracurricular and community involvement
  • Not being nominated for a need-based and-merit-based International Scholars award

Both of these universities are very well known among the students worldwide. Choosing a university among these two depends on the candidate's objectives. For applicants who wish for an academic career in the field or for a higher degree, UBC is a better university as it offers really good education and holds a top rank.

But, students looking for a job in the IT department can go for BCIT as they highly focus on job placement.

According to various unofficial sources, UBC acceptance rate is around 54%. This means UBC is moderately selective at the time of admissions. To improve the chances of getting admission to UBC, the applicants must aim to meet the entry and application requirements. So to take part during The University of British Columbia admissions, the applicants must have Class 12 qualification for bachelor’s courses. As per the unofficial sources, the UBC Law School acceptance rate is 13.3% making it difficult for international students to get into the university. Students can apply for the programme before the admission deadline i.e. December 1. Students can check below all the important detail regarding UBC admission in Law.
