Both of these institutions form part of the best universities in Canada & are a popular destination among international students looking to pursue higher studies from abroad.

However, both institutions are very selective in choosing between candidates & only prefer individuals with a good track record in past academics as well as other non-academic activities.

The University of Alberta acceptance rate stands at around 58% while that of University of British Columbia stands at 54%. Though both are largely similar, UBC is slightly easier to get into than University of Toronto.

Graduates of the mentioned universities are employed at some of the top MNC's in Canada & worldwide & are paid well as part of respective jobs.

However, the median salary earned by Toronto Univeristy graduates is the highest with salary of around INR 86.5 L, while that of University of British Columbia is the lowest standing at INR 60.95 L. University of Alberta graduates are sandwiched between the two with an median graduate salary of INR 77.8 L.

As per an official source, the University of California, Davis offers an MBA programme through the Sauder School of Business. The minimum GMAT requirement is 515 with at least 50th percentile in verbal, quantitative, and data insight sections of the test.

Along with the GMAT, UBC also expects the things below -

  • A GRE score of 155 on both the verbal and quantitative sections.
  • Students must have a three or four-year bachelor's degree with a B+ average or recognised equivalent from an accredited institution.

The University of British Columbia expects a minimum cumulative GPA of 3 on a 4-point scale.
