Applications at the UBC Sauder School of Business are accepted on a rolling basis and are reviewed holistically. It is not guaranteed that your application is accepted after meeting the minimum requirements for UBC MBA. Below, we have mentioned the complete UBC MBA admission requirements: -

• Academic Qualifications: 

1. A Bachelor's degree 
2. Academic transcripts

• Test Score - International students can take either of the below mentioned tests: 

1. 515 GMAT with at least a 50th percentile in the quantitative and verbal sections of the test
2. 155 GRE score on both the verbal and quantitative sections

Note: Test scores are accepted within the last five years and students need to arrange GMAT or GRE scores and sent them to the university directly from the testing service organization.

• English Proficiency - English proficiency test scores are required for all international students, such as a TOEFL score of 100. for IELTS Academic it is 7.0 bands, and for PTE Academic, 70. 

• Professional Experience Two years of full-time work experience gained after graduation with a Bachelor's degree.

• Doctoral degree – a 4-year Bachelor's degree + Master's degree or M.Phil. Degree with First Class/Division 1 (65%).
• Master’s degree - a four-year Bachelor's Degree or a Master's degree with First Class/Division 1 (65%)
• English Language Test score – TOEFLibt score (90), IELTS (overall 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each component), and PTE (overall 65 with no less than 60 in each component)

The applicants are required to meet the below-given entry requirements to take admission to UBC MBA:

• A 3-4 year bachelor’s degree with a B+ average, or recognised equivalent from an accredited institution
• GMAT / GRE score.
• 550 score in GMAT with at least a 50th percentile in the Qualitative and Verbal sections of the test. Alternatively, in GRE, 155 score is required on both Verbal and Quantitative sections
• To have a greater chance of admission to UBC MBA, a GMAT score of 650+ or 320+ GRE score in combined Verbal and Quantitative section is required
• English language test score
• 2 years of full-time work experience gained after graduation from the applicant’s bachelor’s degree is also required. For a competitive edge, a minimum of 3-5 years of full-time work experience is required
• Maturity, motivation & fit
• Academic preparation – Applicants must have a foundational proficiency in quantitative methods and familiarity with Economics and Statistics
