Uni of British Columbia is not the most competitive university to get into, as its acceptance rate stands at 54%. This figure tells us that almost 54 out of every 100 applicants manage to get enrolled in the university, which is more than half of all the applicants. Students can choose any of the two universities as both are highly reputed and belong to the top 50 universities globally. The University of Pennsylvania ranked #15 among global universities whereas the University of British Columbia ranked #35. As per Shiksha Grading, both universities have an ‘A+ overall grade’ and an ‘A grade’ for the Computer Science program.

Students must do a Data Science degree from the University of British Columbia rather than Simon Fraser University. The University of British Columbia is a highly reputed university that offers a range of programs with global rankings. On the other hand, Simon Fraser University is not so famous for its Data Science program.
