The University of Cincinnati was founded as Cincinnati College and is renowned as the second-the oldest institution of higher education in the Cincinnati area. Also, with an enrollment of over 53,000 students, the university is the second-the largest by enrollment in Ohio. The university has 14 constituent colleges through which it provides programs in Architecture, Science, Humanity, Engineering, education, Law, Music, and more. The university is also popular for research opportunities and is classified among R1: Doctoral Universities-very high research activity.

One of Ohio's top institutions for international students is the University of Cincinnati with a student to teacher ratio of 19:1 and a commitment to offering top notch academic programs in a concentrated setting. For UG admission the Uni of Cincinnati requires students to have a 2.5 GPA and for pg the students should have a 3.0 GPA

The school GPA is a major factor during the Cincinnati Uni admission. However other factors like extracurricular activities, scores in English language proficiency are also important.
