The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission mention the list of post/services in the official notification. The Commission also mentions the pay level against each post. Based on the pay level we can say Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) is the highest post of the UPPSC PCS exam. The other important ones are for SDM, SP, Registrar, BDO, BSA, Assistant Labour Commissioner and the likes. SDM are entitled for the promotion to Indian Administrative Service (IAS). The number of vacancies in UPPSC exams is inversely proportional to the cutoff marks. This means that an increase in the number of vacancies can reduce the cutoff marks, while a decrease in vacancies can increase the cutoff marks. The UPPSC PCS exam is conducted in three stages: prelims, mains, and interview, and the cutoff is released separately for each stage. The UPPSC PCS Prelims Cutoff 2024 is expected to be lower due to the increased number of vacancies, as per the UPPSC PCS Prelims Cutoff 2022. The UPPSC PCS Prelims Cutoff 2021 was also lower due to the increased number of vacancies.

However, the exact cutoff marks for UPPS
